Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, in partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals, Kings County (KCHC), is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor (TCL) / Breast Imager. The successful candidate will: 

  • Comply with the goals and objectives to successfully function within the Division of Breast Imaging at KCHC.
  • Act as a liaison with breast surgeons and radiation oncologists at KCHC.
  • Participate in all aspects of the breast MRI program at KCHC.
  • Participate in productivity, quality assessment, performance improvement, and peer review activities at KCHC.
  • Adhere to the breast imaging daily schedule and participate in the on-call coverage at KCHC.
  • Maintain all standards of professional conduct expected of a faculty member in the Department of Radiology.

Required Qualifications:

  • Board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • New York State Medical License.
  • Fellowship in Breast Imaging.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret breast MR and perform MR-guided breast biopsies.
  • Ability to read other imaging modalities.
