Job Summary:

The Department of Central Sterile Services at SUNY Downstate Health Science University is seeking an hourly/per diem Sterile Supply Associate, Sterilization. The successful candidate will:

• Collect soiled instruments/trays and equipment.
• Clean, sterilize and assemble routine and specialty instruments trays.
• Prepare packs and instrument trays.
• Stock isolation, dialysis and crash carts.
• Test, decontaminate, clean and sterilize various endoscopes.
• Operation semi-automatic sterilizing equipment, mechanical decontamination and other related equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• Must be CS certified.
